
The Poveda Center in Miami in the United States celebrated the day of Pentecost with a special event in the framework of the centenary of the pontifical approval of the Teresian Association.

The Department of Culture of the Municipality of Guadix, in collaboration with the Pedro Suárez Study Centre and the Provincial Council of Granada, has been running a route called “Guadix Teresiano -- following in the footsteps of Pedro Poveda in Guadix”. This visit is guided by experts and it started in mid-May as part of the programme entitled “Walking Guadix”.

The Royal and Pontifical Fraternity of El Refugiocheld a commemoration Mass at its headquarters, the Church of San Antonio de los Alemanes located in Madrid in Spain. It was in memory of Pedro Poveda who belonged to this fraternity from 1930 to 1936.

In the context of the centenary of the pontifical approval of Teresian Association, the University Residence of Montevideo (Uruguay), continues to celebrate various meetings and activities.

On 14 May, an InteRed event was held in Madrid to present a photo exhibition entitled Gente que vibra (People who vibrate) as part of the launch of ‘The Values That Unite Us’ campaign.

In the Metropolitan Cathedral of La Paz, Bolivia, a thanksgiving Mass was celebrated on Saturday 4 May to commemorate the centenary of the pontifical approval of the Teresian Association.

On 4 May 2024, the City Council of Jaen in Spain dedicated a plaque to St Pedro Poveda Castroverde on the street of the city that bears his name. This was to coincide with the anniversary of his canonization by John Paul II in 2003.
