On July 27, 2025, the Teresian Association (TA) in Iloilo (Philippines) marked the commemoration of Saint Pedro Poveda’s Martyrdom with a heartfelt gathering at the Josefa Segovia Student Center, Iloilo City joined by family, friends, and members of the community.

Young immigrants of various nationalities participated once again in the 5th Encounter of “Youth for Interculturality”.

The Diocesan Library, managed by the Teresian Association, has become a meeting place for literature and mental health thanks to an agreement with the Mental Health Center in the city of Holguín (Cuba). This space welcomes patients with addictions, anxiety disorders, depression, and other psychiatric conditions, offering them a peaceful environment for reflection and encounter with the written word.

This year 2025, the celebration of St. Pedro Poveda was lived in the Teresian Association as a triduum: from July 26 to 28, the feast day itself and the anniversary of the founder's martyrdom. Peace and dialogue, gentleness and commitment have been the underlying themes, looking at the pressing needs of the world and in communion with the voice of the Church.

On the evening of Monday, 28 July 2025, the Community of Saint Pedro Poveda, belonging to the Holy Family of Nazareth Parish in Taquaritinga-SP, held a moving liturgical celebration in honor of its patron saint. The Solemn Mass, presided by the parish priest, Fr. Daniel Bento Bejo, brought together about 100 faithful in a moment marked by faith, remembrance, and great joy.
