MARANATHA!
Advent invites us to waiting, longing, hoping and welcoming the Light of the World during one of longest and darkest moments of our present time.

HOLY LAND
The new premises where a group of the TA carries out its mission with various courses of attention to migrants and refugees in the Holy Land were blessed and inaugurated in a simple ceremony on November 6.

On 16 October 2021, we celebrated 25 years of presence of the Teresian Association in Louvain-La-Neuve, Belgium, around Catherine Chevalier, the kingpin of this continuous presence, by remembering all the people from the Association who have lived for some time in this university town.

We offer some notes about the summer encounter held in France, organised by ACIT France-Belgium, which has meant a return to meeting and gathering after the restrictions imposed by the pandemic.

Bridging the gap is a mentoring and volunteering initiative that took place last summer between Spain and Equatorial Guinea. It started with the desire to accompany secondary school students from vulnerable groups with support in their subjects, and at the same time to offer meaningful experiences of online or face-to-face volunteering to young people who wanted to give some of their free time for the benefit of others.

Some fifty young people answered an invitation sent out by the Teresian Association in Rome, Italy, to take part in an art competition-exhibition. They were to freely express their experiences of the pandemic through art.

The Bishop of Guadix, Spain, Francisco Jesús Orozco, has declared the parish of Nuestra Señora de Gracia (Our Lady of Grace) in the district of Las Cuevas (The Caves) a diocesan shrine, renaming it “The Shrine of Our Lady of Grace and St Pedro Poveda”. He also blessed the new diocesan chapel dedicated to St. Pedro Poveda.
