
On 14 May, as part of the initiative launched by the TA Council for Culture to promote ‘ecological conversion’, Carmelo Coco held discussions with Biochemistry students in the Aula Magna of the Technical College and later with members and friends at the TA headquarters in Rossano.

La Casina is situated right below the shrine to Our Lady of Covadonga which is known as La Santina, located deep in the Picos de Europa. This was the venue for a gathering focused on Nature and Contemplation from 30 April to 3 May 2026.

Over one hundred people took part with keen interest and enthusiasm in the symposium dedicated to the venerable Elisa Giambelluca (1941–1986), held on 21 April 2026 at the Istituto Comprensivo Amarelli in Rossano, Italy.

Throughout the months from February to April 2026, the Teresian Association International Youth Network (RIJIT) continued moving forward in Asia, Africa, the Americas and Europe. They are forging relationships and connections, becoming established and sparking hope, even though the final picture is still taking form.

“How should Christians live in the midst of the conflict currently afflicting the Holy Land?” Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa (Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem) launched the above question in his pastoral letter to the Christian people of the Holy Land, on April 27, 2026, entitled: “They returned to Jerusalem with great joy: A proposal for living the vocation of the Church in the Holy Land.”

The Pedro Poveda Higher Institute of Educational Studies (ISESP) in the Dominican Republic has held two training sessions on the Socio-Educational Proposal (PSE) of the Teresian Association. The second took place recently, in April, and the first was held in January.

Amid the ongoing regional tensions and conflict, the Pontifical Mission Educational and Cultural Center (PMECC) Team (composed of three TA Members) remained steadfast in its commitment to education by successfully holding the Final Round of this year’s Reading Competition on March 26 and the Awarding Ceremony held last April 15 at the PMECC in Bethlehem.
